Founding Partner Pilot · First 5 Yards

Run your yard on Vantage,
free for 60 days.

We're taking five yards as founding partners. You get the full product, set up in a day, with a direct line to the founder. No card, no contract, no sales calls. In exchange we want your honest feedback, and if we earn it, a review.

On Gmail or Outlook in the browser? Email us directly: hello@vantageyms.com

Applying is one email, and the pilot itself never asks for a card. The trial button is the standard self-serve route instead: 14 days free on the Pro plan, card required, published pricing from $149/mo. Want to look before you talk to anyone? Watch the 60-second product tour.

Applications open · limited to 5 founding partner yards

What you get

The whole product, not a stripped demo. Every Founding Partner yard runs on the full Pro feature set for all 60 days.

Gate in and out from a phone

Photo-based trailer and container capture with 5-stage AI validation. The phone your clerk already carries is the scanner and the gate log. No cameras, kiosks, or RFID.

C-TPAT digital inspections

The 7-point inspection with photos, seal check, driver signature, and an audit support pack with SHA-256 hash. Included during the pilot, even though it's a Pro-tier feature.

Yard and dock visibility

Every trailer's slot, every door's status, and dwell time in hours, so nothing sits forgotten in row 14 and detention stops sneaking up on you.

Appointment scheduling

A carrier portal for booking dock appointments, so scheduling moves out of the inbox and the whiteboard.

Setup done for you, in a day

We configure your doors, yard layout, and staff logins with you. Clerks get the iPhone app, the office gets the web portal, and the first gate scan usually happens the same day.

A direct line to the founder

You email Kevin, Kevin answers. Not a ticket queue, not a chatbot. Pilot yards' requests go to the top of the build list.

How it works

Three steps, and only the first one needs anything from you today.

STEP 1

Reply or apply

Email hello@vantageyms.com with the basics: how many doors, roughly how many trucks a day, and what you run the gate on today (paper, whiteboard, spreadsheet). Five minutes, tops.

STEP 2

We set up your yard in a day

Doors, yard layout, staff logins, all configured with you on a short setup call (the only call in the whole program, and it's for setup, not sales). Nothing to install at the gate.

STEP 3

Run it for 60 days

Use it like you own it. When something is broken, confusing, or missing, send a note. On day 60 you either stay at published pricing or walk away, and we help you export your data.

Who it's for

Vantage is built for small and mid-size yards, and the pilot is too. We'd rather tell you now than waste your 60 days.

A good fit

  • 20 to 80 door yards: small DCs, 3PL warehouses, drayage and container yards
  • Gate runs on paper, a whiteboard, or a spreadsheet today
  • Trailers get lost, detention hours go unnoticed, and gate lines back up
  • English and Spanish speaking crews: the app is bilingual EN/ES

Not a fit (honestly)

  • Multi-hundred-door terminals that need RTLS towers, fixed cameras, or deep ERP integration on day one
  • Operations that want a long services engagement; Vantage is self-serve software, not a consulting project
  • Yards that can't put an iPhone at the gate

What we ask

Two things. Neither involves a meeting invite.

Honest feedback, async only

When something bugs you, send a short note or a photo by email. That's it. No scheduled feedback calls, no quarterly reviews, no surveys on a calendar. If you ever want a call, we'll take it the same day, but we will never put one on yours.

An honest review, if we earn it

If after 60 days Vantage made your yard easier to run, we'll ask you to say so in a public review. If it didn't, tell us that instead; that's just as valuable. Either way, honesty is the whole payment.

What we don't ask

No card. No contract. No commitment to buy. No logo rights, no case study, no reference calls, unless you offer them.

Founding Partner FAQ

What happens after 60 days?

You decide. If Vantage earned its keep, you move onto published pricing — Lite $149, Pro $349, or Scale $649 per month, listed on the pricing section like it should be — at 50% off for your first 12 months when you convert. There is no auto-charge, because we never took a card; the pilot cannot quietly roll into a bill. If you don't continue, your account closes and we help you export your data.

Why free? What's the catch?

We're early. Five real yards running Vantage every day and telling us what's broken is worth more to us right now than five invoices. The catch is simply that we'll ask what's broken and expect straight answers.

What do we need to install?

Nothing fixed. The gate runs on the iPhone app, the office uses the web portal at app.vantageyms.com. No cameras, kiosks, RFID tags, or scanner guns, and no installer walking your yard. Setup is configuration, not construction.

How much of our time does the feedback take?

Minutes, not meetings. A two-line email when something annoys you is exactly what we want. Most pilot feedback we expect looks like "the scan misread this trailer, photo attached" or "I can't find where to reassign a door." That's the good stuff.

What happens to our data if we leave?

It's yours. Gate logs, inspection records, and photos can be exported before the account closes, and we'll help you do it. Retention and deletion follow our published privacy policy.

Five yards. Sixty days. One email.

Tell us about your yard: doors, trucks per day, and what you run the gate on today. If it's a fit, you're scanning trailers this week.
