What a YMS usually costs
The license is rarely the whole bill. This is why a yard with 40 dock doors typically never buys one.
Enterprise YMS pricing is not published by those vendors, so the left column describes the buying process rather than a specific vendor quote. Compare against whatever quote you receive.
Pricing questions
Is there a setup or implementation fee?
No. Setup is self-serve and designed so your first gate transaction can happen the same day you sign up.
Do I have to sign an annual contract?
No. Plans bill monthly and you can cancel anytime. Annual billing is available and saves 15 percent, but it is optional.
Do I need to buy hardware?
No. Vantage runs on standard phones and tablets. There are no RFID readers, kiosks, scanner guns, or camera towers to purchase or install.
What counts as a transaction?
Three things count: a Gate IN, a Gate OUT, and a Yard Check (one per check cycle). Everything else is unlimited: yard moves, driver ID scans, inspections, reports, dashboards, and carrier appointments.
What happens when the free trial ends?
The trial runs 14 days with the full product. A payment card is required at sign-up, but nothing is charged during those 14 days. On day 15 the plan you picked starts billing at its published monthly price unless you cancel first, and you can cancel anytime from your account.
What if I outgrow my plan?
Change plans from your account at any time. There are no overage fees, so a busy month does not produce a surprise invoice.
Can I run more than one site?
Multi-site visibility is included from Scale. Smaller operations usually start with a single site on Lite or Pro.
Do you offer a discount for a pilot?
Yes. The Founding Partner program gives the first five yards 60 days free and then 50 percent off for 12 months, in exchange for honest feedback; a case study only if you offer it.
