Delete your account
This page explains how to delete your Vantage YMS: Yard Management account, published by NEUMAX LLC, and exactly what happens to your data when you do.
Delete it from inside the app
This is the fastest route and needs nothing from us.
- Open Vantage YMS and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to the Account section.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Read the confirmation, then confirm.
Your sign-in stops working immediately. The rest is removed on the schedule below.
Or ask us to do it
If you cannot sign in, email kevin.choi@vantage-yms.com from the address on the account, with the subject Delete my Vantage account. We action it within 30 days and reply when it is done.
If you are not the account owner. Vantage is used by a company at its yard, and your employer may own the organization and its records. Deleting your own account removes you and your personal data. It does not delete your employer’s gate records. If you need the whole organization removed, the owner should write to us from the address on the account.
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, email address, role and site assignment.
- Your sign-in credentials, including Apple and Google sign-in links.
- Your push notification token, so the app can no longer reach your device.
- Your personal app settings and preferences.
What is kept, and for how long
Some records are kept because a customs, security or detention audit may need them later, or because they belong to your employer rather than to you. They are retained on the published schedule in our Privacy Policy and then securely deleted.
- Gate transaction records — 3 years from the transaction. Operational records owned by the yard.
- Gate and inspection photos — 1 year from capture.
- Electronic signatures — 3 years, with the transaction they belong to.
- Driver’s license images — 1 year from capture. The parsed text is kept with the transaction record.
- Billing and tax records — as long as US tax and accounting law requires.
Nothing in this list is sold, and none of it is shared with advertisers. Full detail, including our subprocessors, is in the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Agreement.
